Daniel R. Michel obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1992 in International Business and Economics, from Madonna University. He graduated in 1996 from the University of Toledo, College of Law, Cum Laude.
He has been in private practice with the Defiance, Ohio law firm of ARTHUR, O’NEIL, MERTZ, MICHEL & BROWN CO., LPA since 1996, concentrating in the area of domestic relations law. Mr. Michel also handles other litigation, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and business disputes.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Association for Justice; Chair of the Family Law Committee for the Ohio Association for Justice; immediate past chairman of the Negligence Law Committee for the Ohio State Bar Association; and on the Board of Editors for Ohio Trial Magazine.
