Bob received his B.B.A. from Kent State University in 1977 and a JD from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1983. Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1981, Bob continued advanced professional accreditations and became a Certified Fraud Examiner in 1992 and accredited in Business Valuation in 1999. He is a Director of SS&G Financial Services, Inc. Business Valuation and Litigation Support Services Group. His public accounting experience includes tax and consulting engagements at national and local CPA firms. Other experience includes the purchase, management, and sale of several closely held retail, industrial, and professional service organizations.

Bob's areas of concentration include business valuations, damage analyses, forensic analyses, fraud prevention and detection, litigation consulting, expert testimony, and insolvency work including accounting, tax, preference and fraudulent transfer analyses, and business operation as a Trustee, Receiver, and Examiner. He has lectured extensively on subjects including Business Valuations, Damages, Fraud, Professional Standards and Ethics, Income Tax, and Tax Aspects of Bankruptcy.

Bob has performed more than 1,000 business valuations, provided various services in over 200 bankruptcy cases, provided dozens of damage analyses and reports, and conducted various levels of fraud examination. Bob has provided deposition or trial testimony in more than 100 cases.

Bob chairs various committees of legal, accounting, and insolvency professional associations, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Turnaround Management Association, the Cleveland Chapter of the Ohio Society of CPAs, and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Center for Principled Family Advocacy, Association of Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, American Society of Appraisers, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Institute of Business Appraisers, the Cleveland, Akron, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and American Bar Associations, and the Ohio Society and American Institute of CPAs.
