Joy Zeiler Courtright practices family law in the courts of Lake, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Portage, Medina and Lorain County. Formerly of Zashin & Rich Co., L.P.A., Joy now maintains a solo practice in Beachwood, Ohio. In her practice, Joy handles all issues related to divorce, dissolution, property division, child custody, support, modification and enforcement of spousal and child support and all aspects of post-decree litigation.
Joy has been a member of The Center for Principled Family Advocacy since its inception. Members of the Center are committed to identifying all reasonable and appropriate processes available to resolve domestic relations matters. Joy has been formally trained in Divorce Mediation and the Collaborative Process and currently serves as a Trustee for the Center.
Joy is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. In service to the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Joy has served as the Secretary, Treasurer and Vice-Chair of the Family Law Section. She is now the Co-Chair of the Family Law Section and has published articles in the Cleveland Bar Journal.

Joy earned an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Special Studies degree (B.S.S.) from Cornell College where she majored in Women’s Studies with concentrations in Political Science and Economics. Joy earned her law degree (J.D.) from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she graduated cum laude. Joy and her husband, Jacob, have two sons, Boyd and Parker.
