Cynthia D. Lowenkamp is a sole practitioner who has practiced family law including domestic relations and juvenile law since 1996. Cynthia graduated from The Union Institute, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1987 and received her Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1996. She was admitted to practice in 1996 in Ohio. As well, during 1996 she was admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth District. In 1999, she was admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court.

Additionally, in 1999, Cynthia completed basic mediation training and business, family and divorce mediation training at the American Center for Conflict Resolution, Cleveland, Ohio and the Better Business Bureau's Mediation Training Program including mediation for juvenile truancy, Akron Ohio schools As a guardian ad litem for children, both in Cuyahoga and Lake Counties, Cynthia has participated in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division's Mediation Program. Cynthia has also served as a guardian ad litem for the mentally ill adult through the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division and and for the elderly in nursing homes through the Probate Division of the Court of Common Pleas, Cuyahoga County.

She is a member of The American, Ohio, Cuyahoga County, Lake County and Federal Bar Associations. One of Cynthia's family law cases which was difficult and complex was appealed to the Supreme Court of Ohio where Cynthia and her Co-counsel prevailed for their client. This case involved minor children and their father. Their father was Cynthia's client. The minor children requested a surname change to that of their step-father. The matter was tried in the Lake County, Ohio Court to the Magistrate. The Magistrate's decision was appealed to the Judge of the same Court. The Judge transferred the case to the Cuyahoga County Probate Court; the case was appealed to the Ohio Court of Appeals, 11th District, and then was appealed to the Ohio Supreme Court. Cynthia and her Co-counsel won for their client in each court. Cynthia enjoys serving the community as an attorney and is dedicated to protecting her client's best interests.
