Mike brings a wealth of experience and dedication helping families in conflict. His mission statement is "to offer families alternative processes in resolving conflict, which prevent the emotional and financial costs associated with the adversary divorce process."

After his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, Mike did graduate work in counseling at the University of Virginia, and then on to Ohio State University where he graduated in 1983 with his law and master degrees. Since then, Mike has been at the forefront of the mediation and principled family advocacy movement. Mike is a certified mediator and arbitrator with the Academy of Family Mediators and the American Arbitration Association. Additionally, Mike is an instructor with Capital Law School Center for Dispute Resolution, where he trains lawyers and other professionals in the art of mediation and negotiation skills. Mike is currently the chair of the Cleveland Bar Alternative Dispute Section and is a founder of the Mediation Association of Northeast Ohio.

Mike's law practice is dedicated to all aspects of family law issues including divorce, dissolution of marriage, custody, adoptions and guardianships, juvenile, and school-related matters. His offices are conveniently located on both the east and west sides of Cleveland and is willing to meet clients in the evenings and weekends.
